Mews Integration

You can set up your Mews integration in as little as 10 minutes. There is no technical knowledge required to complete the entire process and we have made it very easy with a step-by-step video and instructions.

On Mews:

  1. Open your PMS account, click on the Menu button and then click on Marketplace. You will find Katanox under Distribution.

  2. Within Katanox's settings, you can import your Channel Manager Rates just by clicking on it. By default, all your rates will be automatically uploaded.

    If you wish not to sync one or more rates, click on the Channel Manager ID and uncheck the Synchronised box. Click on Save.

  3. To upload your inventory, go to Channel Manager Categories, and again by default, your room types/units will be automatically uploaded.

    If you wish not to sync one or more of your rooms/units, click on the Channel Manager ID and uncheck the Synchronised box. Click on Save.

  4. In order to add any products with their specific rates, go to Channel Manager Product. Click the + button on the top right of the page and select your product (this can be breakfast or a romantic package, for example).

    Add the Channel ID to the product selected and click on Create. Go to Channel Manager Rates and click on the rate you wish to edit. Once you're in the rate's settings, click on the + button, choose the Channel Manager Product and click on Create it. You will find it at the bottom of your Channel Manager Rate.

  5. Check the Enabled box on the Katanox profile and make sure all 4 operations are selected.

  6. Copy your Channel Manager ID and open your Katanox page.

On Katanox:

  1. Once you are registered on Katanox:

    • Click on Integrations under the profile icon

    • Click on + New Integration

    • Select Mews and paste your Channel Manager ID in the Connection Token field

    • Click on Import to Katanox

  2. On the main page, choose the property you want to set up.

  3. Go to Policies and click on Create. Create your cancellation/no-show policy. Click on Save.

    Following it, go to the Rate Plans tab, click on Edit and add the cancellation policies you've just created on the Policies page. Click on Save.

  4. Finally, go to the Property tab. It’s where you can see your property’s profile. Most of the information will be imported from your PMS but make sure that you have the most up-to-date information, a nice description, appropriate photos, etc.

    Now you can activate your property by sliding the switch to On. Click on Save.
